Florida – In Florida, home schooling is huge. The relatively low quality of the public education is one reason for the high number of Florida homeschoolers. While there are several statues under which a parent can homeschool, the simplest homeschool law in Florida is to file as a homeschooler which requires annual submissions to the local school board, annual student assessment by any of a variety of means, and some record keeping.
