Whether it’s clothing, value meals or homeschool curriculum, one size does not fit all. A great article written by a Christian Homeschool mom says it all.
To quote Kerry from North Carolina :
“Homeschoolers used to be marginalized too, but over the years, they have become more accepted and respected. Within the homeschooling community, there are now groupings that help people fit in.”
It can be difficult to find a curriculum that will fit in with not only your belief system but that will fit with the needs of your child or even harder, all of your children. Even within the same family, one size does not fit all. Little Johnny may need a lot more direction than Little Sally needs. All kids, even those from the same family, benefit from a custom curriculum fit. You wouldn’t send Sally and Johnny out in the world wearing shoes that don’t fit. Why would you settle for homeschool curriculum that doesn’t fit either?
