Where Secular Homeschoolers are the Majority!
I think this is great (disclosure, I’m involved in sponsoring the site).
In many communities around the US, there are homeschool groups dominated by the evangelical Christians. Now this is fine but because of this, it’s hard to know how many homeschoolers are actually secular. Frankly, in a small community where the homeschooling group is dominated by the Christians, it makes sense for the secular homeschoolers to just “pass,” there’s not a clear benefit from just making your own religious views known. At the end of the day, nobody really knows what percent of the homeschoolers are truly secular or not.
In any case, there is now the Secular Homeschool Website. And I quote:
