Hello, my name is John and this is one of my blogs. I post a variety of posts here from semi-private ruminations on the nature of education or homeschoolings to the explicitly promotional.
I am the founder and president of a small online educational company that has a number of services and websites: Time4Learning.com, Time4Writing.com, SpellingCity.com, Vocabulary Learning, Homeschoolliterature.com, Educational Games for Students, and Science4Us.com. There are, or will be, other sites involved so when I’m supporting a site here you can assume it is promotional in nature. In some cases, this might be part of a collaboration with another company. In some cases, I mention and promote sites purely for the joy of promoting something cool and interesting.
With that disclosure said, let me assure you that I take my services and promotion of them very seriously. I try to only offer top quality materials which I do believe are of great benefit to the target users. I try to position the services realistically so that customers can make informed decisions.
I try to run a business built around satisfied long term members, users and customers. I have a long-term approach to member relationships. I try to avoid embittered unhappy customers who are asking for their money-back (a guarantee that most of our services provide) or bad-mouthing us. The key to this in my mind is providing value for money and positioning products realistically. NO, I try never to say: “Time4Learning makes homeschooling easy and for everyone”. I try to keep our marketing realistic and say things like, “Time4Learning makes it easier…” With that said, we are now a company and although my view and philosophy are known, there are times when I find marketing materials that make me cringe. So when some of our marketing feels wrong, feel free to bring it to my attention. Info @ this domain will reach me directly.
I hope you find this disclosure useful and clear.
